You may recognize this senior, she is the drum major for the Industrial Golden Cobra Band!  I was very excited when her mother called to book a session for both Rachel and Vanessa.  I was a 'long-term substitute teacher' for Rachel's class when she was in Kindergarten and I cannot fathom how fast time has flown!  It seems like yesterday!  For the years that I substitute taught, I quickly learned how fast you become involved with each of the kids in the class and I have thought about this class off and on throughout the years and wondered how they were all doing.  Things do truly come full circle, now I get to play a small part in Rachel's last year in school as opposed to be there for part of her first year in school!

We had an absolute fun session!  Both girls made it so fun, we extended the shoot to allow time for both seniors as well as getting some shots of them together.  You'll see Rachel's sister, Vanessa in this blog for shots of them together. 

Rachel wanted to include her clarinet in some of the shots as well as her letterman.  I also brought along my velvet sofa because I knew their outfits would just POP off the black velvet.   I am all about true vibrant colors and am so happy with how everything turned out!
