I absolutely have so much gratitude for families that return to me to shoot the other graduates in their family!  And I literally had to try not to cry when Katelynn hopped out of the car at our meeting place and gave me a hug!  I had never met her, but I had shot her older sister's senior session in 2021!  She proceeded to tell me she was soooo excited that her day had finally come, how she had been watching my work for sometime.  I stay humbled and I still get warm fuzzy feelings each time I am given ANY compliments on my work!  Its a big decision when choosing a photographer and there are many many talented artists in the area, I am so so grateful when a senior chooses me.  Katelynn wanted her senior session back on the family land where we shot her sister's session.  We captured shots in various places that are sentimental to her, including the stone steps where her mom has snapshots of her when she was little sitting on those same steps!  We sought and found just the right areas that offered gorgeous lighting, utilizing the sun as it was setting, yet still keeping her beautiful face lit so those bright eyes would not be lost in the shadows!  Katelynn picked out a gorgeous album cover image and complimenting fabric! Katelynn is also one of my 2023 Senior Inspirers!  Congratulations to this Victoria West senior on her 2023 graduation!
