This Edna senior just had the most unforgettable session- we were Blessed with the dreamiest Texas sunset, casting a warm glow over fields of tall autumn gras that looked like pure gold when the sun was setting!  The atmosphere was something out of a country romance, the perfect backdrop for this stunning senior, Karlee!

When we arrived on their family land, we loaded up in the atv for a quick tour of the land so I could see where the sun was hitting and where the shade was since the sun was still fairly high at the time, we made mental notes of where the sun would be setting and then got to work!  We had some fun on a classic rope swing which added a playful nostalgic vibe and we topped that off with the pink cap and gown that I ordered for my style closet (one of my new props!), then we moved to get some shots of Karlee's school memorabilia which included cheer outfits, medals and more!  Then we headed out to the tall grass where we nestled my white wicker peacock chair into some tall grass for a cozy shot with the sunset behind Karlee.  

Everything was happening fast as it always does during those last moments of the sun about to set, but every shot was breathtaking with that golden light draping over the field and wrapping around Karlee.  Karlee had a vision of getting some shots with a mirror and I am just over the top excited how those turned out!  Here's a fun fact - Karlee's Dad is sitting behind the mirror holding it up!

I'm always excited when I get to shoot seniors from my old alma mater, Edna!  The blue and white always brings back fond memories of my high school years!
