Photographing all 4 of my son's senior sessions was an experience I will always cherish. Freezing in time, a piece of who is is and what he loves to do. He wanted this portion of his senior session (we aren't done yet!) to reflect his passion for duck hunting, and we set out to make it as authentic as possible.
We started in the duck line with the light casting a golden glow over the water. I have never been duck hunting with him, and to watch him completely in his element, surrounded by the tools of his trade and the calm stillness of nature. The distant calls of cranes provided the perfect soundtrack, adding life to the backdrop. There was something serene and grounding about the whole experience. It wasn't just a photo session- it was a celebration of his connection with the outdoors, his independence, and the things he loves. As a parent and a photographer, I couldn't be more prouder of these moments and the story they tell.
Time won't stand still and we are not entering the second semester of his senior year! Very bittersweet! Aidan will be a 2025 graduate of Industrial High School.
